Video: Robert Egger is Creating Change Through “Relentless Incrementalism”

CCMedia April 14, 2017

Robert Egger has spent decades creating jobs and better lives for people through his organizations pair job training with serving food for the hungry. The most recent, L.A. Kitchen, recovers locally sourced, cosmetically imperfect fruits and vegetables to fuel a culinary arts job training program for men and women coming out of foster care and older men and women returning from incarceration. Currently, the organization serves about 6,000 meals a week.

In this TEDxTalk, Egger tells the story of how he found his way to this kind of work, and his passion for creating change through “relentless incrementalism”. It’s about “never stopping,” he says. “Some days big strides, some days small. Badass movement all the time.”

Watch the video to hear his story of how he came to be one of the top pioneers of revealing innovative solutions to social problems that were in plain sight. And to learn more from Eggers about the “how to” of using your company as a tool for good, join us at our upcoming leaders forum.
