Solar and Wind Power Are Growing Faster Than Any Other Energy Source

In 2013, new solar generation capacity grew by 41%. From 2009 to 2013, new wind generation capacity grew by an average of 31% annually.

But, in 2013, only 4.13% of electricity was generated by wind energy resources
and a mere 0.23% of electricity was generated by solar resources.
