Calling All Entrepreneurs Who Serve Migrants, Refugees, and Survivors of Human Trafficking

The Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship is inviting entrepreneurs serving migrants, refugees, and human trafficking survivors to apply for its second Social Entrepreneurship at the Margins Online (SEM 2) accelerator, designed to sharpen business plans, impact scaling, and investment readiness.

Building on its pioneering SEM work in 2018, Miller Center brings 16 years’ experience accelerating more than 1,000 social enterprises in 100 countries. SEM 2 Online is a six-month, mentored virtual accelerator program offered at no charge to participants.  The program connects entrepreneurs with seasoned, executive mentors who help build the organization’s growth and funding plans, its financial model and marketing materials to grow the enterprise in a sustainable way. The call for SEM 2 applications is worldwide; enterprises with impact in Asia are particularly encouraged to apply and may do so hereApplications are open until August 23, 2019.  Finalists will be notified in September and the program will commence in October.
