Where are you from?
How’d you get to where you are today?
Love, humor, and other people cooking for me.
Extended travel, biomimicry, biking, hiking, Pilates, all things music, caffeine, eastern philosophy, spaghetti westerns, baking from scratch, learning how to night scuba…eventually
Idiosyncrasy, honesty, creativity, communication
Why do you work for Conscious Company?
I’m fascinated by the power of storytelling to challenge skepticism, dissolve ignorance, and inspire disparate groups to connect and collaborate. Dedicating my strengths and passion to a media publication that is tackling one of the most complex narratives of the 21st century through storytelling — how we continue to maximize and flourish when faced with limited resources — is a privilege and honor.
What inspires you?
Systems thinking for social change, cities, the informal economy, power posing, polyglots, John O’Donohue, Majora Carter, Brian Eno, Beyonce, Pema Chodron, and the brilliance, creativity, and generosity of my friends and family!
A vintage 1971 Airstream trailer was once my “permanent” residence.
What gives you hope for the future?
Neuroplasticity. Also love, humor, and people cooking for each other.
