Kathryn Jacob spends her days fighting the most violent crimes. She believes in relationships free from violence, but the reality is, many are not. Jacob has dedicated 20 years of her professional life to ending domestic violence through innovation, leadership, and drive. In 2015, she was named the President & CEO of SafeHaven of Tarrant County in Fort Worth, Texas, and in 2017, was named the North Texas Social Worker of the Year. Jacob served in the United States Peace Corps in Turkmenistan, and has led in organizations such as the Appalachia Service Project, The Salvation Army, and the Housing Crisis Center. She has dedicated her life to working side-by-side with vulnerable populations, keeping victims safe, and doing her part to hold offenders accountable. Jacob knows that when peace is present, justice is possible.
